This case study explored the ways audio tools such as VoiceThread could be used to improve speaking fluency among 19 English language learners who were preparing for the Cambridge exams, an English language proficiency exam.

Digital Storytelling for ESL Technology Training

This professional development workshop was led for the teaching community that included ESL, K-12, college/university, and Adult Ed educators focusing on Photo Story 3 for ESL lesson ideas.

Music and Dance in Storytelling Curriculum Unit
This intensive five-lesson curriculum unit explores the effects that music and dance has on the narrative process. Through creating various digital products, learners will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the relationship between storytelling, music, and dance.

Haitian Relief Benefit Concert
San Francisco, CA
Through music and playing bass guitar in a band, I’ve been fortunate enough to contribute to raising relief money to be sent to Haiti after the January 2010 earthquake. All band proceeds were sent to the Red Cross Haitian Relief Effort.
